Just for fun. Some things annoy me more than other on the list. The less of these you put in a comic, the more enjoyable for me. While only two bullets are "truly" offensive to me.
• Teeth in robot-mode. It just does not look right. This being an extreme example. (I'm okay with Unicron's fangs.)
• Yellow eyes, when they should be blue or red.
• Toy-accurate portrayals. (Mostly happens with characters like the Stunticons/Menasor; Aerialbots/Superion. Astrotrain. Mirage. Blaster. Etc. And I actually saw a scan of Starscream with the MP-03 hip "kibble.")
• When the top half of Soundwave's head is drawn like the Decepticon symbol.
• Jazz with wings.
• Skyfire drawn as Jetfire.
• Overly "buff" (puffy/bloated) and overly detailed portrayals. [Lil Formers parody]
• When every character is being drawn with "Ultra Magnus" hands. That only really works for Magnus.
• Kibbly designs.
• Sometimes too much detail can be overwhelming and hard to follow. (This is how it's done right. This piece is detailed, check out the buildings and skyscrapers on & in Cybertron, yet not so detailed that it's hard to tell the charterers apart from the background or each other.)
• Overpowering colouring. (Transformers actually look sharpest and "crispest" in cel-shading.)
• Flashlights for eyes. (Unnecessary use of the outerglow effect.)
• That scary art style where they incorporated the look of the live-action movie bots. Brrr! [Lil Formers parody]
• Optimus Prime transforming like the Masterpiece toy. Now, his MP is perfect, the best toy ever, but the reason it transforms the way it does is so Prime could look on-model in both modes. Mimicking the actual toy transformation defeats the purpose.
• Optimus Prime with a mouth--! You don't mess with perfection.
